Child Safe Organisation

Our Commitment

Our commitment, above all else, is to honour the right of every child and young person to experience safe, respectful and supportive engagement that recognises and respects their individuality.

We create environments where children and young people feel safe, are listened to, and are empowered to express their views and needs.

We value and respect our clients’ rights, culture, songlines, identity and self-determination, recognising that the safety, dignity and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority and that we actively work to prevent harm, abuse and neglect in all forms.

Our Policy

RISE is committed to maintaining strong safeguarding practices and transparency in how we protect children and young people.

Our Approach

Our approach aligns with Queensland’s Child Safe Standards, which set out the principle's organisations must follow to create environments where children are safe, heard and protected. You can learn more about these standards on the Queensland Child and Family Commission website.

Reportable Conduct Scheme

Queensland’s Reportable Conduct Scheme strengthens child safety by requiring organisations to properly investigate and respond to concerns about employee behaviour towards children. Learn more about the scheme on the Queensland Child and Family Commission website.
